Williams & Bacon was not found in extant New London city directories or Connecticut business directories issued between 1849 and 1856. The New London city directory for 1855-56 (1855) lists printer Ebenezer B. Williams as an individual. Wood-engraved plates are printed on pink paper. Last page blank. In printed stiff paper cover."
